A year...

Today, the first Sunday in July, marks the first anniversary of the weekly (and on Feast days) Mass in Kilkenny according to the 1962 Missal at St. Patrick's Church. Our formal thanks-giving and celebration of this will take place on the 25th of July as has been announced.

In the meantime we express our deep gratitude to the Bishop of Ossory, Seamus Freeman SAC, the parish and clergy of St. Patrick's Kilkenny, especially Fr. Daniel Carroll PP, and our to our chaplain Fr. Thomas O'Toole CC. Our deepest thanks for the support we have received from all those who attend the Masses and have assisted in countless other ways. Everyone is in our prayers!

Benedict XVI on the Litrugy

“The Church stands and falls with the Liturgy. When the adoration of the divine Trinity declines, when the faith no longer appears in its fullness in the Liturgy of the Church, when man’s words, his thoughts, his intentions are suffocating him, then faith will have lost the place where it is expressed and where it dwells.
